The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside is looking to hire a host or hostess to join our food & beverage team for the 2022 season. We are looking for someone who has a warm and welcoming personality, attention to detail, positive attitude, and knowledge of the local area. This position would be four nights a week from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting at $16 an hour.
Job Duties:
- Primarily greet and assist guests in a positive, welcoming, and professional manner
- Seat guests and manage the reservation system and seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Receive and record reservations by phone or in person.
- Assist in bussing tables as needed.
- Share knowledge of menu with guests
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Other duties as assigned
