The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center is looking for a personable and dependable individual to join our exceptional Events team!

As a Banquet Server, you will set tables and decor, serve and interact with guests, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attending rehearsal dinners, weddings, and other catered events. As a Banquet Server, you will be a part of this team on a part-time seasonal, on call basis; this position does not include housing. Weekends, nights, and holiday availability is required, as those are the most popular event times.

Banquet Server Responsibilities, Requirements, & Skills:

Set tables and decor prior to events.
Serve food- both from buffets and table service.
Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests.
Buss tables.
Clean event rooms following the event.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Serving experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking and carrying heavy trays.

Must be able to work early mornings, late night, weekends, and unpredictable hours- including the potential for holidays.
