The Atlantic Oceanside is looking for a motivated individual to join team as a Hotel Reservations Agent. As the Hotel Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for answering, transferring, and assuring all telephone calls are handled quickly and efficiently. You will be expected to a positive and professional attitude and exceptional customer service when speaking with guests as well as other teammates and coworkers.

This is full-time, year round positionwith full benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle telephone calls (Excellent customer service and phone etiquette)
  • Careful attention to detail when conversing with guests on the phone and recording detailed notes regarding guest requests and needs.
  • Answer and transfer calls in a timely and courteous fashion
  • Communicate effectively with guests, vendors, other members of the team as well as external contacts.
  • Develop a relevant knowledge of properties served, as well as local attractions, business locations and points of interest (local knowledge a plus!).
  • Comply with guest privacy standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Understand and adhere to individual properties brand and standards.

Skills Required:

  • Hotel reservations, front desk, or related sales experience.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.
  • Proficiency with computers and technology.
  • Desire to act as ‘brand ambassador’ for Witham Family Hotels and represented properties.
  • Aptitude for strong knowledge of property amenities, services, and facilities.
  • Ability to work at a desk for long periods of time, perform essential job functions.
  • A professional and positive attitude in the work environment.
  • Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience / Education:
Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Performance Measurement:
90 Day performance review, annual performance review, attendance, productivity, feedback from others, Guest Response scores, etc.
