The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center is looking for a Night Auditor to join our team. This is a part-time, year-round position eligible for benefits. The night auditor is an important part of the hotel front desk team operating independently during the 11pm to 7am shift. The night auditor is responsible for reviewing and balancing revenue and creates value by providing excellent customer service. Starting wage for this position is $18/hour.

Responsibilities include effective reservations sales, handling all guest accounts efficiently and accurately, assisting in all phases of guest experience such as check-in, check-out, and problem resolution. Additionally, the night auditor acts as the Manager-on-Duty during the overnight hours.

Job Duties:

  • Acknowledges our guest with a smile and friendly “hello”. Promptly attends to guest needs.
  • Performs calculations of all department’s day work. (Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate data)
  • Completes daily reports – balanced to zero.
  • Maintains records of routine accounting transactions; Assists in preparation of financial and operations reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries.
  • Follows all audit procedures as specified by hotel.
  • Ability to work unsupervised act as manager-on-duty.
  • Demonstrates a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and working at the front desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work overnight hours from 11PM to 7AM including weekends and holidays.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
