We’re looking for a friendly and dependable Dining Room Attendant to join our team at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center. This full-time seasonal position is perfect for someone who enjoys providing excellent service in a dynamic and scenic environment.

As a Dining Room Attendant, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You’ll provide breakfast service in the Cadillac Café, perform in a variety roles for lunch and dinner in the Bistro, and assist with special events as needed. Open availability—including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays—is essential for this fast-paced, guest-focused role.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Seasonal, 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and
    holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
    Example shifts: 5:00am to 12:00pm, 11:00am to 6:00pm, or 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours
    may vary. Overtime, when needed, available after 40 hours per week.

  • Shifts vary between Cadillac Cafe, Bistro, and Events as needed.

  • Pay: Tipped position with guaranteed wage of $18.23 (paid weekly) (We will guarantee the $18.23 wage in any given workweek when the total compensation (including tips) does not meet the prevailing wage rate or overtime wage rate).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Depending on the assigned property, duties may vary, and workers may rotate between properties and roles
  • Dining Room Attendants do not take orders, wait tables, or perform traditional Server duties.
  • Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
    • Greeting customers in dining and event spaces
    • Setting up dining areas prior to service
    • Carrying trays and plates
    • Serving ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons
    • Delivering food trays to guest rooms for room service orders
    • Putting away food deliveries in refrigerators or freezers
    • Re-stocking food items in kiosks and/or mini-fridges in lobby or food-service areas
    • Setting up buffet-style meals and maintaining food stations
    • Re-stocking or replacing chafing pans of food during service
    • Cleaning and clearing tables and buffet stations
    • Washing dishes, taking out trash, and breaking down recycling
    • Vacuuming, wiping down chairs and baseboards, and washing windows as needed

Skills & Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

  • No experience required
